I took delivery of my 2door Badlands Sasquatch on Saturday. Personally, I don’t need the step, but it wasn’t a pretty picture when my I took my wife and her sister to dinner. Especially, assisting one of them into the back seat.

I ordered the V2’s the next day.
Same here. I don’t need the step but it’s pretty comical watching my 6yr old trying to get in and out.

Tks…do you know what size screws these are?
Sorry, I do not know the sizes. Don't have the steps. I imagine IAG might be willing to provide the sizing. www.albanycountyfastners.com is a good source for unusual stuff such as black oxide SS. There are a number of other vendors as well to source it from.

Damn. These really are the best option I’ve seen. Waiting for some more feedback before I take the dive.
These from IAG and the Stirrups from AR seem to be the top choices for steps that attach to the OEM rock rails. Both appear to be very good choices. I originally ordered the IAGs V2 but later decided to go with the AR Stirrups.

I bought the V2, nice steps… I agree with you on black screws….

For 2 door location is quite easy as you just need to get the step as close to the front rock rail bracket. It puts center of step fairly close to front seat bracket.

No complaints, I have a friend coming over later…. If they work for him I imagine it will hold enough weight for just about anyone….

I have had mine on for 2 1/2 weeks and they are great! Easy install and easily removed. My BF is a welder/fabricator and is quite impressed with the quality.

installed the black screws on the IAG Side Steps. Much cleaner look!

Pleas give details on the black screws, I need those. Size and where you purchased? Would love to have them ready when the steps show up!

How soon did these ship to you? I love the look of the ARs but they may still be delayed past my next road trip.

The IAG are held in place by what looks like a cup point set screw on the back side.
or is it a flat point ???
To me it looks like it would dig into the finish of the rock rail.
""Hello Rust spots my old friend... ""

I'd be happy to be wrong,
It is for this reason I went with the AR stirrups design.....but paid dearly for them.

How are the AR Stirrups mounted vs. the IAG ones? I thought they were the same but obviously not.

I can tell you that the brackets are primarily attached by the bracket itself given the shape of the bracket and internal foam pad protecting the rock rail. the screw is on the back of the rock rail under the vehicle and the screw primarily is to be screwed as a means of securing the position...not a lot of force...I don't imagine that causing rust. Again, the bracket is secured by the design itself and gravity based on how the step is mounted to the rock rail.
