Was pleasantly surprised to see at SCE2025 this year the full line of Accessories on display at the @IAG Performance booth for the Capable Bumper.

I have a 2023 Wildtrak with that bumper and was hoping to see what IAG might have available after reading their post regarding.

They only had one Bull Bar Kit, I fortunately I was able to get this on Thursday and they installed on Saturday for me.

I was not concerned about the quality nor the toughness of their new system for the capable bumper as I had already read up on this. But I was concerned how much the bar would cover up the front camera. They said only the bottom of the screen and they were correct. You just see the bar at the bottom of the screen.

I watched them install and it is very straight forward, looked very simple to take off the bumper, only one connection needed to be disconnected, the brackets holding on the D rings comes off and the new bracket for the hooks are put on. In all took them about 30 minutes.

I love the new look. Even like the round shape on the ends, fits the design of the headlight and blends in with the black grille.

IAG said the new line should be available very soon on their website. I think they said they are working on having shackles soon, but I could be wrong.

Is this compatible with any high mount winch mounts?

I have a similar bar but am concerned about adding a winch.

You would have to cut out the lower crossbar to fit the high winch mount on your setup. Also to note, you have a Modular bumper. The OP is showing the FMS for a Capable bumper.

Personally, I think it looks great, love the look. How sturdy is it? Can I use it to push a climate protestor standing on the street without worrying about it bending back into the lights and grill?

@younglefthander I like the look, but can you tell me how much this bar weighs? My 2DR BB is pretty light and feels like it so I am always concerned about how much weight is added by any mod.

The bar and components to mount it are about 45 lbs.

My only concern is that there isn't a ton of structure to this type of brush guard. In a deer hit or any kind of impact, it wouldn't be very structurally sound and would be quite prone to folding backwards/buckling before it did any kind of protecting. As a guard against normal brush and branches though, I'm sure it does the job, and certainly looks great!
If anyone's looking for something more structural, here's my recommendation - the steelcraft HD grille guard I just installed on mine is pretty skookum. I have the standard bumper though, but I'm sure it'd be similar to the capable bumper, and they include hardware for both the standard and modular bumpers.

I guess if you're going for the armored personnel carrier look...

Joking aside, the full size bar the OP posted is substantially more rigid than the same offering on an HD Modular bumper. This is due to the unique design of the mounting where is doesn't rely on the bumper itself to provide the stiffness. The FMS full bull bar will withstand substantially more than just brush, though the limit isn't actually known. Unless you've had the opportunity to get a grip on one of our new bull bars, the skepticism is understood. We still haven't found a tester willing to mow down roadkill, for scientific purposes of course 🤓

That's a fair point, it's good that it doesn't just mount to the bumper! The Steelcraft is similar in that it doesn't mount to the bumper, but rather to the frame, and uses the modular bumper for stabilization and rigidity. Seems like y'all have done the same minus the extra rigidity - though with the smaller footprint of this brush guard it seems that the extra rigidity probably isn't needed. I definitely agree though, your design is a bit more subtle and fits the "bronco look" much more nicely! The Steelcraft one is definitely changing the overall look to something entirely different. Some people may be going for that, some may not. Though, I'm sure yours wouldn't arrive all scratched up like my Steelcraft one did lol. I blame the shipping company for that, though.

I will also say, it's nice that y'all haven't blocked the camera up front. Mine certainly is blocked on all 4 sides a little bit, certainly not unusable but it does mess with the look of the 360 camera lol!
