I saw this the other day and love them! I need to reach out to Bryan with Icon to see when they think they’ll be available for the Bronco. Have Icon wheels on my F-150 and love them!

Neat idea for sure. I can imagine that the tire would still be able to spin on the rim though.

Although I have not seen the Icons, until now.

These have been around awhile now. the only draw back from what I hear is the are HEAVY and hard to balance.

Completely different design, but yes I knew about these. The Icon video I posted it's from a few hours ago.

Watched the vid. very cool !! I like the idea. (y)(y) Simple design and will work for most applications. Before everyone gets all defensive, hear me out. :D

I heard him say it took a standard non beadlock 1000 pounds of force to de-bead. It took this wheel 5500 pounds of force to de-bead. So this is why I say most because of one factor. A true beadlock will clamp the tire to the wheel. It will not de-bead. Only way for it to de-bead is to completely fail. Take a high horsepower drag car, it will use double beadlocks ( inner and outer ) so as not to pull one way or the other due to one bead being clamped to the wheel and other bead free to move.

As I said these are cool and looks like they are about 100 bucks less than true beadlock wheels. Another good point was he said after de-beading (5500 lbs) you could still remount and use the wheel and tire again. If this would be a true beadlock one or the other, or both would not be useable.

Just my 2 cents.

The whole idea of this just screams Mall Crawling, curb flexing poser.
Just get the real things and real trail tires and swap them out on trail days.
Street sucks on the trail, Trail sucks on the street.

Yeah - Hutchinson are looking for a Philly area owner so they can take measurements to make their Bronco set. They are DOT approved, look cool, and weigh about the same as the beadlock ready OEM wheels. I would imagine they may be hard to balance.

Also, if you want to see how to mount them up, Jason at Autoedits did that and may be able to comment on balancing:

Interesting. The only issue is mounting the tire. After mounting, your shop will have to insert all those bolts and torque them down.

one more issue. All those bolts are going to make the overall weight heavy

Seems like you'd need a knowledgeable shop but easy enough. I agree with the weight but would 16 bolts in addition to the wheel really be more than a typical bead lock rim? Raptor OE's are what? 35-38#?

Hub-centric for the Bronco? Or just another one-size fits all?
