Okay, so I went and found a Race Red 4-door OB to hold me over while my Iconic Silver Badlands-Sasquatch is being built! I want to do a 2” spacer lift and add 35’s to the OB. I’m thinking of springing for nice wheels and tires that can get swapped onto the Badlands when it arrives and put the Badlands wheel/tire package on the lifted OB when I trade to dealer.

The question is…. What rim color goes okay with Race Red, but awesome with Iconic Silver? Is it as simple as black???? (I’m not a huge black wheel fan). I do like the bronze for the Race Red, but hate it for Iconic Silver. I think Gunmetal Grey would be great on the Iconic Silver, but just tolerable on the Race Red…. UGH!!! FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS!!!! Please add your thoughts!

IMO Black is the best if you want something that goes with both.

Black looks best on bright colors like Race Red and Cyber Orange.

Silver or Black looks best on Iconic silver... I've seen some charcoals that look really nice on Iconic silver as well.

The silver or grey/charcoals dont really look good on the bright colors like Race Red IMO.

Black looks good on everything.

The only thing bronze looks good with is Eruption Green. Even then I wouldn't do it.

But then again, what does it matter what anybody else says?

I have to disagree, a good charcoal grey works well with both colors. You can also try to match or come close to the MIC top color. That will tie everything together assuming you have the MIC top on either or both.

Black works fine, but black wheels to me just look out of character on most vehicles. Hard to tell where the tires stop and the wheels start.

A polished wheel if you like the styling might work well for either color too. Good Luck!

Seems like you solved your own dilemma. Go with what you would want with the Iconic Silver but find tolerable on the Race Red. You are tolerating Race Red to hold you over until your Iconic Silver is built. As a future Race Red owner, I would tolerate the Gunmetal Grey wheels if you decided to go with another color by the time you get the Iconic Silver you ordered.
