If the clock could be turned back and Ford was given a second chance what should they change.

My thoughts are that they should have released only one model, Badlands for example with one engine choice. I applaud Ford for trying to bring all things to all people but it has hurt them in the end. One model, one motor, two transmissions.

What say you?

1. Fold flat and flush seating in the 2 door creating massive storage space
2. Less trims. A base, a mall crawler , and a off road version. Only one with carpet is the mall crawler. Both base and off-road are meant for the same demographic at different price points and have wash out interior.
3. 2.7 only. Nobody wants the 2.3 over the 2.7. Streamline the production. Give everyone paddle shifters if they can’t make a manual.
4. Better colors. They are dogshit.

I would just push the whole roll out back one year to a point in time where they could reveal it, have a functional build and price a month later, start ordering a mont after that, and start delivering like six months after the reveal to capitalize on momentum.

I think Ford made its biggest mistake when they didn't just give me a Bronco so I could be a product tester for their development team...WTF Ford, it's me we're talking about...I could drive around the country, park it next to jeeps, take it on the Rubicon trail, randomly pass people on the highway so they could get a glimpse of the bronco but never get a good picture. I could ensure no one ever saw the engine compartment, got a wiff of the projected gas mileage. Hell, I could have promoted the Navy Pier interior on a cyber orange exterior. I have faith that they will correct this obvious missed opportunity on the 7th gen Bronco, and when I do become a tester, rest assured, the result will be the best, no crying over the interior color choices, no anger over the manual paired only to the 4 cylinder. I Homer Simpson pledge to you, the great people of Bronco6g that when I am part of the Bronco team for the 7 gen Bronco, you will truly have a car for the people, a car for everyman!

I think considering the current circumstances Ford is doing just fine. Just look at your answers here so far. All wide and varied. A mulligan would do them no good.

I would simplify the trims and offer more packages instead (Especially tire/wheel packages, I'm going to give someone else $1500-2000 that they could have had).
Try to make it a bit lighter.
Eliminate the accent colors in the interior and make them all black/gray but choice of fabric/MGV/leather depending on package.
Make the MIC top Black
More variety of colors
