It changes as you get older. I grew up driving V8’s with 4 speeds and heavy clutches. They were just plain fun IMHO. I loved pulling the gears. But I’ve had plenty of 4 and 6 cylinder sticks as well and I don’t drive as heavy footed as I used too. I’d prefer the V6 over the 4 cylinder but the transmission trumps the hp for me but again.... I am what I am and at this point probably won’t change.

Just remember, easier to engine swap and upgrayedd from manual to manual than auto to stick
