Owning a 69 and 96 Bronco in the past I really have my heart set on a new Bronco, but if the Bronco does disappoint it will probably be a diesel Wrangler or Gladiator for me.

Probably a Troller in case I can manage to import it to our country. If not, then I shall check out the Ranger Raptor when it arrives to our dealers. Or wait to see what the Toyota FT4X production version specs will be and how will it look like. If anything of these will not be satisfying then probably I am turning towards the Rubicon.

But I really hope that I shall be OK with the product Ford is going to put out.

If the new pony is a poser, I'll just take the $40k I have earmarked for a '22 Bronco and upgrade my '71 Bronco - it could use A/C and a driveline modernization from the carburated 351W and 3-speed auto...

Honestly, I'll just get a used Lincoln MKZ for kid and dog hauling and DD duties and get an old early-2000s F-series to tow the Mustang

I have needed to replace my car for a long time now, and I was thinking of getting a pickup for years. After going over the lists of models and qualities that I wanted/needed I realized the Wagon/SUV form appealed to me a lot more, and for the rare occasion I could really use the towing/bed of a pickup I have plenty of relatives I could borrow a 3/4 ton from.
.

You know, after having my 2001 F250 diesel, I swore the next "hauler" would be a larger SUV and I would just get a utility trailer/car trailer for hauling stuff. Trying to get ANY THING in a truck means it has to go UP and eventually come back DOWN. Utility trailers sit low and have ramps .....so, seems logical. Even though I had the 250, I found that I was still borrowing a friends trailer because it was SOO much more convenient.
Some bulky things like lumber or plywood will still fit in a SUV, but when you need to move that refrigerator, lawn tractor, washer dryer etc etc, rolling stuff up those ramps wins the day. The other bonus is having more room to keep stuff out of the weather in a SUV. You can put a cap on the truck, but now you definitely need the trailer to get a load of mulch or dirt.

I've got money earmarked for a 2020 Mustang GT Premium w/ PP1 and magneride. Just holding off to see what the Bronco will be. plan to place an order in January for the car if the Bronco isn't a grand slam imo.

If it is (a grand slam), I'll get the Bronco, maybe sell my 82, and put money in bronco mods and my '71 mustang.
