If Slide-out tailgate on 4-door is added will the doors still be able to be placed in the back?

I am assuming (and strongly hoping) so.
My assumption is they would just sit up "taller" by the height of the tray. Also assuming they would still fit under the rear crossbar.
Be nice to KNOW instead of assuming.

I would assume so, especailly with the roof off. I really like the tailgate, just not sure that I need it. I think the biggest selling point for is that it creates a level floor with the seats folded down, mine will stay down most of the time.

Assuming these are the same rig, and it certainly appears as though they are, I would say yes.

Excellent. Any Boy-O-boy does that look tight there under that cross bar.

Looks like it will BARELY fit with the top on lol, a fit is a fit though
Might be tight enough that you don't have to strap it down ;)

I wonder how long before someone bounces a door out of the back (though they may be too heavy for that to be an issue). Maybe it'll be one of those scenarios where, if you bounce a door out of the back you've got much bigger problems.

But if you are offroading you probably want the space to carry supplies and tools. Why would you take the doors off when you are not offroading? I see Jeeps like this and the 4 doors do look a little silly. The Bronco already has half doors - I think I will just leave the doors on.

Going off-road does not mean you have to load up enough supplies for a week or to go camping. Very possible for a simple day trip and what ever I need put in back seat area.

I guess you never had a car with T tops? Riding with no doors is a completely different experience. Puts a smile on your face. Great to do it once in a while. And at least the Bronco gives you the opportunity. You should try it before writing off your entire ownership and say that you will not do it.

Wasn't that slide tray previously characterized as late availability? Wonder if that holds up your build, or if they'd just ship it to the dealer later for an install?
