Forecast says 88 for the high in Vegas on Sunday. I'll have to get my coat out - and take the top off! That's 20 degrees cooler than today. Just crazy weather this year.

I was on the far west side of town (near Starr Pass) at 3:30pm on pavement surrounded by block buildings baking in the sun. Fifteen minutes later when I got back home to tree-lined Midtown, my car said 108.

It always sounds funny when the weather girl says we are going to have a cooling trend because it is going to go back down below 105.

My drive home on the west side of Phoenix was a steady 116 from 3:00 to 3:30. The AC in my little 2DR kept me nice and cool though
