I'm trying to figure out how to lock my keys in my Bronco at the beach.

If you have the keypad, to lock all doors, press and hold 7•8 and 9•0 at the same time.

Can you not turn off the FOB? On our other cars, you press a sequence on the FOB and it turns it off. Then you would not have to worry about placing it into a faraday pouch.

Does your Faraday bag have 2 compartments? I have one I got on Amazon and it was 2 sections. One section is the Faraday and the other is just a pouch. The center divider in the pouch is shielded so I put my key in the back section of the bag and my truck won't detect the key at all.

Also make sure your second fob is no where near by either!

Get a waterproof pouch for the FOB and keep it with you. I for one am not too keen about leaving the key in the vehicle.

You can easily pop the battery out of the fob. Won’t that accomplish what you’re trying to do?
