Important In-Vehicle Refrigerator Questions

FWIW have an ARB 37 qt, it works excellent. IIRC it has a setting where it wont run down the vehicle battery. I guess with enough time sitting without the power the fridge wouldn't be cold anymore, I haven't used mine yet in very hot weather. BTW, has anyone yet seen a fridge like mine or larger mounted in the Bronco? It'd be nice to mount it in solid, maybe using the ARB slide mount, not just hold it in with bungee cords or whatever.

I have never seen an in-vehicle refrigerator before. I have many questions, none of which have thus far been addressed anywhere as far as I can tell (plus I never get to start a topic)

1. Does the refrigerator run on the regular Bronco Battery or is there an aux battery somewhere?
2. Is it meant to stay in the vehicle at all times? Can you keep a stocked fridge of goodies full time in here?
3. If you don't start the engine say, daily will this thing completely suck your battery dry?
4. If you can remove it, can you plug it in somewhere in the house?
5. Is there a freezer? an option for ice?
6. What materials are they made of?
7. Most Importantly:
   1. How many 40's can it hold?
   2. How many Truly's fit inside there? Can you mix in some high noons?
   3. what is the longest hoagie I can fit in there end-to-end?

DON'T get the in vehicle refrigerator they are offering. It is expensive for its size. Get an arb or Dometic. It runs on the battery if you have it plugged into the truck, but you'd be better off having a portable solar powered battery (check out "last line of defense" on YouTube for great examples on that). It doesn't need to be plugged in 24/7; just when you need it.

seriously though, how far are you going to be off the grid to need this? Most people say a weekend trip or 2-3 days before you can get to ice? Just use a cooler as a fridge is not worth the hassle.

After having the ARB I'd never go back. Pricey to buy but works great, wish I had bought sooner.
