The Ford Bronco is a capable off-road machine, but if you're like most owners, you probably spend more time on the pavement. If you want increased rigidity in your 4 or 6-cylinder Bronco, consider the Steeda Strut Tower Brace! Follow this simple install and learn how to strengthen your vehicle's chassis. However, if you do end up taking your Bronco off-road, then it's a simple removal of two bolts that frees up your strut tower brace to be able to conquer any terrain.

You can check out the product here - https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-5738-bronco-strut-tower-brace

I'm missing something. Why would you remove the brace since it stiffens the chassis? Do off-roaders want their chassis to bend/flex? It seems to me that is never a positive thing.

you must flex or metal rips...long term hard core off highway destroys vehicles...... this is why there are so many bushings...

It looks as though this brace blocks the oil cap and dipstick. It would suck to have to remove this thing every time I do my oil change.

edit: I find it funny and corny that you guys were like "hey Todd, go do some random shit to the intake box while we film this" not bad, just entertaining and mildly distracting

This should work well with those 'brodozer' builds with 26 inch wheels.

all interesting points. I like the idea but yea blocking access for simple things like oil change seems odd. Maybe why it is "so easy" to remove. Better yet design it so you don't have to remove it to change oil. Also, I am not sure how I feel about the whole flexing chassis thoughts. I am a road race guy so stiff chassis and make the suspension do everything is all good. Not so sure about off road....all though...those full race broncos....don't flex much....hard to when they are tube frame....food for thought.

I don't understand wanting a chassis to flex around rocks, as opposed to the suspension doing that. But I'm not a hard core off-roader so I'm just trying to get educated why a strut brace would be removed. I can't think of any off-road vehicle I've ever seen that had flex built into the frame.
