Saturday we had our Independence Day Group ride at Red River Gorge in Ky. It was a ton of fun we had a few challenges that day and it was a great size group just 9 Broncos. We had close to 2 inches of rain a few days before the ride but it was mostly dry besides a few spots that were under heavy tree canopy.

We started the day on Fixer rd which is basically a dirt road with some ruts added in and a few mud holes it’s really easy then we hit Sinking Creek which is a little tougher trail you need minimum of 35” tires to run this trail or better have some good skid plates. The climb out of sinking creek was super slick which gave some people issues due to no traction. After you get up the rock section your on New Virginia Rd which is also pretty easy. We finished the day off with a bonus trail that took us to a place they call hidden lake. Overall it was a really fun day full of challenging obstacles for some of our members.

Most of our group rides have many female drivers and let me tell you our women don’t need any powder puff rides they run some trails better than the men do. I think it’s awesome. Had to give them some recognition they deserve it.

That lime green looks pretty good!
Good job on that last V-notch/ rutted part with people not freaking out when the driver's rear popped up. Most people have a tendency to slam on the brakes when that happens and tense up.
Rolling on through with smooth momentum looked great there.
Looks like a fun day!
