I started my 4th at 0:00 putting a brisket on the smoker. Had some friends over, did some grilling. Little bit of top down cruising in the Bronco. It was great!!

Worst 4th ever! We have a vacation home on an island that we rent out by the week. On Sunday, we were notified by our tenant that the fridge died. We couldn't leave them without a fridge so my wife and I spent Sunday searching for a new fridge to purchase. Rented a U-Haul and picked up the fridge Monday morning (the 4th). Drove it down and got on to the ferry, crossed over and delivered the new fridge and installed it. Got back on the ferry and crossed back over. On the way up, arriving in Boston just past 9 p.m., we at least got to view some fireworks around the city from the highway.

Already celebrated by starting my day off trying to see if Ford decided to bless me with an update on my order (they did not).
Grilled some burgers by the pool, tossed some mushrooms on for the meat-averse, and lit up enough fireworks to get into a brief argument with the neighbor. Resided to tossing snappers at people’s feet to keep the firework high going a bit longer.

The positive spin on this is I’m sure you got a solid 4th of July deal on the fridge!
