My ARB rep emailed me and said he is going to speak with the folks in Australia about the issues we've been seeing with packaging

Received mine the other day, just took a closer look and the compressor side switch connector was damaged. Like others, your box was fine, the ARB box inside had some damage, but not on the compressor side. Guessing these are just bouncing around with nothing to keep the heavy ass compressor from damaging itself.

Yea sorry about that - as of yesterday we’ve been added in some padding in the compressor box to help prevent it from shifting around during shipping

I opened a warranty claim on ARBs site and they contacted my via email on Thursday. They are sending me replacement connectors. They said splicing the wires together with butt connectors and heat shrink was fine too.

The quality of the bracket is pretty damn good! It definitely surprised me. And the finish of the powder coat is definitely one of the better that I’ve seen. It really makes you understand the cost of the bracket. This isn’t a $3 piece of chinesium!

You guys packaged it all extremely well…that being said, ARB just kind of throws the compressor in the box. I can see how another guy had damaged connectors. That compressor is heavy, and there is quite a bit of “slop” in the box…all ARB though, not you guys.

Hopefully I’ll have it installed this weekend.

@Jwall complimented your product as high-quality, and not made of cheap "chinesium". I just thought that was funny... as I use that term and "harborfrieghtium" almost interchangably... except one is what cheap eBay parts that break are made of.. and the other is what what you accuse your broken tools of being made of.

My single compressor had no problems upon inspection along with the other items in my order great packaging. My only problem is that I don't have a garage and I may have to wait for a warm day or the spring to install it.

It's been hit/miss with how they arrive. As I mentioned earlier all compressors shipping as of 2 days ago are now receiving additional padding around the compressor. It means we have to open each box and add padding but it's worth it to help ensure compressors arrive in one piece

Thanks, I put in a warranty claim - hopefully they'll send a new connector, looks like these should be an easy swap without having to splice the wires.
