" Right now these only fit the 2.3L engines. The 2.7L has more stuff going on under the hood, so we need to get our hands on a 2.7L in person to see what we need to modify. "

Know anybody on Long Island with a 2.7 :)
I’d be happy to swing by with my bronco. Hit me up

Preciate it. I'm stopping by Mark's business (I forget his name on here) to test fit it. He let me tinker with his front bumper when we were developing our KR Off-Road brackets (before we had our truck). So he's got a 2.7L he says so we'll see if they fit.

It's a little difficult to tell. Does this mount somewhere on the fender side too, or does it just sit on the ECU? It looks like a great set-up, can't wait until they are ready to ship.

It sits above the ECU, it doesn't touch it. It's bolted onto the side of the engine wall using existing bolt holes

That looks like a great set-up. Please update the thread when those are ready for purchase, I must have one.

Looks great!

@4x4TruckLEDs.com have you guys confirmed that there's still plenty of clearance to the underside of the hood with various QD fittings installed? Or do you provide/recommend a fitting for this kit?

I have an outer banks so that means I have the fancy foam under it. It'll fit just fine. The ARB compressor lets you move the outlet so it's off on an angle instead of straight up. Or a 90 degree elbow works just as fine.

Metal looks pretty thin, have you conducted lifecycle vibration testing at all with a mounted compressor or just fitment tests?

So some of you know we've been hinting at an ARB mount for our Broncos for a while now. Well we're finally about ready to roll into production. We did a test fit today of our brackets and they fit great. So the next step is to have our laser cutter give us a set in stainless steel for a final test fitment. From there, we'll begin taking orders.

Right now these only fit the 2.3L engines. The 2.7L has more stuff going on under the hood, so we need to get our hands on a 2.7L in person to see what we need to modify.

This is a 100% bolt on kit. What you see here is our aluminum sample but the final product will be stainless steel (and powder coated black, because that's just how we do things).

You may need to adjust the air compressor so the hose comes off at an angle instead of straight up, but ARB has designed their compressor to allow you to do this for this exact reason.

This is aluminum for testing fit - they mentioned in the first post that they will be making this from stainless - at that thickness stainless will be stronger.

That's because this is not the production version and we laser cut it from aluminum to saves costs during the prototype stage...
