"inserted usb device not responding"

My son just texted and said this warning came up on screen

"inserted usb device not responding"

I searched and and found one thread that mentioned it and no real answers.

No usb ports in use.

2024 Wildtrak 6000 miles. It got the update that came thru last Monday.

Any ideas.

I've seen that same error message over the years. I've always just ignored it, nothing bad has come of it yet.

Still seeing this alert every time bronco is started now. Maybe 8 or 10 times back to back and then goes away for a while. Pops up every once in a while while driving. Starting to get annoying. May have to call dealer if anyone else doesn't chime in.

Maybe the next ota update will clear it up.
