Has anyone gotten an awning on the factory rails?
Apparently yes, but probably just the straight pull one. I've got a 180 awning and it requires 3 brackets. The one that will be tricky is the rear cross aero bar as the roof clamp on the OEM roof rails are higher and larger than the middle aero bars. Ford should of had a T-slot track running across their aero bars to avoid this issue.

I'll update you when the after market clamps arrive.

Yes!! Just finished my build with an OVS 180 on OEM rails. It took some trial and error, I'm super happy with how it's turned out. It's not too high off the rails and feels solid.

I got aero bar clamps from eTrailer, mounting plates from Amazon. Then used some 3/8 -16 zinc bolts.

Well see how it holds up on the freeway, may add another mounting plat underneath for extra strength. Hopefully a more solid clamp or some produces a TSlot bar that fits the OEM roof rails.

Does anyone know what eye bolts fit in the t slots? I just installed mine yesterday. I’m getting prepped for some trips in the near future.
