What did you do different to make it fit? All of the videos I've come across of people swapping from OBX or Big Bend to Wildtrak make it look like a direct swap with just transferring over the bracket piece?
I tried swapping the bracket but couldn’t get it to sit down in the grille properly. It would almost go in but stuck out 1/8 - 1/4”. It’s probably fine but I don’t like to half-ass things

Thanks so much. Oracle recommends using a 1/4 inch drill bit. Just curious what others have done.
I tried using wire cutters to trim the melted "rivet" bits but it seems it was adhered through the hole in the grille. Drilling worked much better. First one I did with 3/16" and it took a couple passes. Second--and the rest--I did with a 1/4" bit and it worked perfectly.

Thanks Jo8n! That'll be my plan when I install

Awesome!

My wife bought the amber grille lights but they were the wrong size for my BL (think they were for base and BD) so I returned them. Do you have a link for those so I can make those happen if she still wants 'em?

Well, dang it. If that comes with a wiring harness to tap into the lights, maybe I'll just tap my grille letters off that instead.

I actually used the provided fuse taps and hooked the amber lights and the Bronco letter lights up to one of the aux switch fuses. #s 60 through 65. Grounded the negatives and works like a charm. Grill letters come with their own harness and fuse tap - very similar setup.

I see. The "professional harness" is the typical fuse tap.

I drilled mine out. Really doesnt take much to get them out, go slow and be a bit patient. The entire install was pretty easy.
Thanks for the post and all your instructions! Very helpful and will probably tackle it today.

I have never seen the Oracle lights in person, they look pretty good on video. But I didn't want a back lit light, I wanted the whole letter lit up. Similar to the Hummer look. I have the black letter overlays if I want to add them on later too. Watching several Oracle light installs, these are very similar. I would even say, easier. The letters come with a quick connect, and already wrapped in black. Extremely easy to install. I chose to hook them up to the parking lights, they come pre wires for that anyway. I wanted them lit up when remote starting. I just knew I would leave the aux switch on too at some point. Below is the link to the lights from Amazon and some install pics. Maybe too many, but I also appreciate when I try to understand how something was installed and have a lot of pics, as apposed to too few. It

Dammit, just noticed the shackle on the left in the pic is backwards. Painted them, and took that one back off to touch up and put it on wrong ugh. Also just noticed that the lights are not available anymore either, ordered them 4 days ago. They were $131.09 shipped after tax.
I just had these installed by the Ford dealer but they said "the wiring harness only works when the ignition is on" or something like that. So they are on all the time when it's running, day or night. I'd rather have them go on with the parking lights like yours. Would that be easy for a rube like me to change?

You’ll want to buy this if you plan to tie them into your parking lights. If you didn’t do the grille letter lights yourself because that was too complicated, then I would say you can’t install this part yourself then either:

I installed this on my Bronco the other day. I'm really happy with how it looks at night, but during the day its not as full or bright as I was hoping, and I'm a bit worried about yelllowing on the plastic.

That being said, I think its a worthwhile upgrade for sub $150. Really sets the bronco apart.

I heard ORACLE is in the works of making these full LED letters instead of just backlit, that might be a worthy upgrade to these in time.

Mine are always on when the car is on. Even when remote started. When it is used with the supplied fuse tie in. I like it like that, so left it as is. Wiring to aux switch, or directly to the parking lights will be more controllable.
