I bought a bunch of cheap molle bags on amazon. They seem to be better quality than the ford kit. The only ones I didn't like were the ones that didn't have a double zipper.

The Ford bags has sewn button straps.

These are just velcro strips. You can use generic 1" velcro strips to attach random stuff. Molle bags usually have snaps instead of velco. For larger items you weave the straps through the slots.
