Received my IAG side steps the other day and finished installing them tonight. Easy install. The most tedious part of the installation was putting in the nameplate inserts. That’s probably just because my hands are not as nimble as they used to be. I used red thread-locker on the inserts and blue thread-locker on the rock rail attachment bolts. These things are solid, great quality, and my wife loves them. Got to make the little people in your life happy! 😁🤣

Look nice. Are you saying the IAG name plate inserts (of color of choice) are not already attached to the step when you receive them?

Dang! $500 and they don't attach their own name plates. Hmmmmm. (I suppose the good side to that might be you can omit them completely and not provide free advertisment)
Honestly, I did think about that, but it is a good looking emblem with the mountains.

If I remember correctly, they said they left it like that so you could paint the little plate before installing it to make it custom.

Definitely not complaining. The whole thing is high quality and feels bulletproof. They have quite a good selection of colors to choose from, but I don't see any reason you couldn't paint them something different.
