Installed the new CSF performance Radiator on 2021 Badlands 2.7 Bronco

With our highly modified Bronco with 38s, lift, and added weight, we noticed our engine temp veering on the high side when venturing through the mountain freeways of AZ and CO. We discovered that a local business, @Full-Race Geoff Full Race Motorsports, had these in stock in the Phoenix area, so we jumped at the chance to get one early. Interesting note, Full Race was involved in the development and testing of this radiator for CSF (verified on CSF’s website). Having never done a radiator swap, I was admittedly anxious about doing it myself. Overall, it wasn’t very hard, but more time consuming with all the stuff you need to remove to do it. The hardest part IMO was maneuvering the fan shroud and radiator out of their factory spots. Hope you enjoy the photos and YouTube video. Please feel free to ask questions.

What kind of improvements are you seeing? Did you use the water wetter? I used to use that in my race motorcycles, made a substantial difference. I'd keep anti-freeze in my Bronco though, I do hit the cold weather spots a few times each year.

Will you install any additional wire mesh over the radiator to stop small rocks from messing with your masterpiece?

The AC condenser covers the entire front of it TBH, so the mesh would not really be a benefit for the radiator itself.

I just installed it yesterday. I did some errands yesterday with around 105 degree high with a heavy pedal and it never got over 195. The real test will come when I drive through the mountains again! I used the water wetter (it’s in the video).

I will be watching for updates, in my experience, the aluminum body radiators don't fair well on off road vehicles because they don't flex when the frame twists and they crack. Keep an eye on it...

Thanks for the content. I've gotten the Bronco a little hot at times, especially in Baja mode. This is on my list. Damn this thing will never be done.

the stock radiator mounts include a rubbery bushing at the top two mounting points as well as it rest on two at the bottom.

Full-Race is at the top of the food chain when it comes to turbo vehicles and so is CSF when it comes to heat exchangers. I’ll def grab one too.

I wish you the best of luck and am not trying to be ugly. I bought one for my Hummer H3, but it started leaking within 6 months, and it was a nightmare getting a refund.
