GFC has told me numerous times they are not doing a Superlite 2. I have an original superlite, that needs some love. I just emailed them this week on their suggestions.

Even at 250 miles its 4 hours hard driving to a refill. Don't be shopping for an EV or a motorcycle.
It’s a big difference coming from a Tundra that got 550-600 miles a tank. Having an extra 3-4 gallons for peace of mind in the middle of BFE isn’t absurd.

PS, I should’ve included a closer pic of the rack!

This rack looks sweet, I like the fairly low profile. Checking out the website, lists static load at 650. Do you know if that’s for the rack only or does that require the Mille panels and braces like a trailrax?

also how is the wind noise and hard top panel removal if you’ve done that.

Thanks! I personally love the styling of it… functionality is a huge bonus on that lol!

Wind noise with the rack is more quiet than stock! and taking the front panels off just requires flipping the up&down latch back in the closed position before sliding it between the rails and the rollbar

I'm not sure about the molle affecting the load rating, but I can reach out and ask!

@EvanPeterson
just got back from a Victoria-Seattle-WBDR road trip and camping
here are some pics of the FRS Aspen Light just after mounting at my bro's place in victoria

it's mounted on the oem rack, worked fine and I'm probably going to keep the oem rack, get an additional cross bar for more support and figure out a way to get the rtt/rack on and off as one piece as I plan on only mounting it when needed

As for the tent, loved it - very comfortable and spacious with good insulation so it's warm and dark in the mornings. 110lbs with the mattress

Ford Bronco Installed thinnest / lightest RTT roof top tent I could find on our 2-Door Bronco IMG_1276.JPEG

How are you liking it so far?
really enjoyed it on the inaugural Washington back county trip
mattress is very comfortable and the design gives an incredible amount of headroom
setup and tear down in minutes
this is the light version so it trades off a full aluminum hard shell for a fabric and tonneau style cover, im fine with that as i wanted one under 120lbs
