I'm still waiting on the dealer to get the wiring harness needed for the switches. In the meantime, I'm sharing the wiring diagrams on how these need to be rigged up.

from the BCM up the driver pillar to the overhead console upfitter switches, then switch outputs go down the passenger a pillar and through the firewall on the passenger side.

This is news to me. Does anyone know where the referenced USB charge port is located?

Just because the wiring diagram says "micro" it might not necessarily it meant "USB." Of course, (anyone) feel free to prove me wrong.

Has anybody taken apart a Bronco w/Aux Switches to reverse engineer the wiring?

A lot easier to follow what's there than trying to figure out where it should go

When I get time in a warm garage or sunny day, I was thinking about breaking out my Fox&Hound to trace the wiring.

Reverse engineer in what way you thinking? Ive had my windshield header panel and switches off 2x in the last week and wired switches 5-6 hot at all times along with running my own custom harness up there for front & rear dashcams.

@1Five1 Garage did it and they didn't find anything for a simple install of the auxiliary switch.

Edit: just saw that you were referring to one that already has the aux switch. Hope the video help you either way.

Maybe it's the power supply for the rearview mirror?

Your video was very helpful. And you and your Mrs were extremely brave for your attempt. I was thinking the same that was a snap connector plug and harness bundle should be just sitting in either of the A post unterminated

Now, if you guys could get your hands on a Bronco with the installed switch panel, you would have an answer PDQ by following the wiring.

That folks is what I mean by reverse engineering.

Following the wiring path from the switches to underneath the hood.

Which way does you the wiring for Switches 1 to 4 run? Overhead to Driver side post to wiring block?

Your welcome. We will be pulling apart our Black Diamond, when we get it, to do a little digging on an aux panel equipped bronco. To verify the with and without.

So... sharing so folks get a full understanding to just spend the damn $200 bucks for the switches when you're ordering: this is what it'll really cost you in parts to add the upfitter switches after the fact (deduct for the touch up paint). Parts will be at my door a week from now & I'll probably work through this over the next month.

Edit: you can find these for cheaper online, but given no one has done this yet, the dealer support from Mangold Ford was worth the premium.
