Yup. Had better luck at the parts counter of a different dealer. That part is +$450 (!!!) so we’re going to get into it and see if there isn’t a nice DIY alternative, likely using the existing sunglass pocket piece. Sorry, it’s not high on the To Do list, but it is on there…promise!

The accompanying part needed is the Overhead console panel in addition to the switches (https://www.oemfordpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/ford-console-assembly-overhead-m2dz78519a70jc)

Ford Bronco Installing overhead aux switches after sales? Capture.PNG

Pretty expensive to build after taking delivery. But I was lucky to get a hold of one as an abandoned order. I think i will be ordering and doing an install video for others.
Can’t wait I am going to order myself as well. Worth the money to get them installed. Should be standard on all Broncos. Will be looking for the install.

I'm going to be doing this to my Bronco (if/when I get it) as it doesn't have the upfitters.

So $370.01 for the switch panel/console isn't bad. I had a 2015 F150 XLT and I paid about $400-$500 for the upfitter panel. It was an entire assembly. I also had to buy the wire harness (which I cut as I just needed the connector and ran my own wires to the leads I needed). It was from a Super Duty/Raptor but fit the 2015 F150s. It was worth it in the end. I had to make a relay panel though, so for $370 or so on a Bronco, not bad. Relays/harness should already be in place for an easy plug and play solution.

Thanks, but I don't really need that type of assistance.

Thank you for this information! I didn't expect to find a Bronco available and it did not have everything I ordered, including aux switches. This is encouraging.

After pulling the overhead trim In my base bronco, there are no wires or connectors ready for aux switches for direct plug and play. Save yourself $400+ to install after the fact.

On your base Bronco did you see the wires in the engine area. On my outer banks I am seeing all the wiring through the truck I just need to verify where you did? Was the top piece easy to pop down I need to verify mine since I see wiring.

Being dumb about this, what would be needed to add a wiring harness there? I am assuming it's tons of work.
