Received an email from my dealer tonight. Basically said that they have no idea when my Bronco will be built, but they do currently have 2, 4 Door Soft Tops available for sale at a considerable premium if I want to Skip the Line.

"Whatever the market will bear" is the usual excuse for this, and there are plenty of folks willing to pony up the $$$...just encourages continuation of the practice..."Fools and their money..." etc.

Roger that. My dealer has asked me multiple times to change my build. I’m not interested. I don’t care if I get a 2023. I want what I ordered. I have a new car I bought in January that I will drive until my Bronco is ready.

Its not scalping. They have every right to list a vehicle for what they think they can get. And we all have every right to speak with our wallet by keeping it in our pocket.

Customers don't get to pick a price for a company to charge. Stop pretending you are being harmed by a business trying to be profitable.

Lord help you if you find out that the grocery stores haven't been selling you food at cost. Or worse, a price higher than your acceptable amount of margin.

You should have asked if they throw in the Vaseline and put on some lipstick before they F#@k ya. I don’t have an issue with dealers marking up a vehicle I just won’t pay them for that vehicle. Some schmuck will end up giving in to the FOMO crap.
