Just be happy you don't live in Michigan ;-) I don't have a Bronco yet but my wife's Equinox is almost double that.

What the OP meant to ask is what does your insurance run you in the state of Florida where old people and snowbirds who can’t drive are everywhere and the speed limit signs are suggested… everyone commenting with their great rates. That’s not how it works in Florida, also goes for home owners insurance. Obviously there are outliers in this across the board

Hi everyone

I own a bronco wildtrak. Got It August 1st 2022. I am about to renew my insurance with Geico. I live in Miami . Never had an incident. 29 years old. Never have received a ticket or pulled over. Bronco has about 1,900 miles . They are charging me $889 for 6 months. Last year they charged me $880. I am curious. What are y'all paying ?

Am I paying too much ? Too little ? Just right?

Would love to know what y'all are paying

Thanks
Rates are going to be based on several significant factors:

Where you live
Driving record/claims history
Amount and type of coverage
Age
Marital status
Home ownership
Multiple vehicles on policy or not

I have another vehicle on my policy, coverage for my wife and I, homeowners. We have the long-term customer discount. I have 100/300/100K coverage with uninsured/under-insured, $100 comprehensive deductable, $250 collision deductable, $60/day rental, $3,000 extra parts coverage and $10K personal injury protection. The Bronco costs $411/6 months. Interestingly, $74 of that is for the $3K in extra parts.

I was paying 197$ a month for a 2019 Ram and a 2021 Forester through Geico. When I added the Bronco, I switched to Progressive. Now I pay around 700$ for six months for all three cars. No Snapshot BS either.

Most likely location dependent. I'm less than half of that for six months w/ State Farm
I have a great driving record, been with State farm for years. Have my house and all my cars under them, And there's still charging over $700 for my Bronco!

Probably going to shop around. I'm starting to like Geico because of their mechanical breakdown insurance.

Amazing the difference when you go North of that California border...even crossing The imaginary line between California and Oregon drops gas prices down $1

I have State farm as well, but I'm being charged over $700 every 6 months..

But the weather's nice, or so they say... well, except for the days the sky is not full of smoke or smog :p

Looks like one of the biggest factors is Location.
Yup. I'm in NJ and mine is about $2k/year w/ high limits (250k/500k). NJ is an expensive insurance state.

I'd say you come out ahead without State income tax.

No question and quality of life waking up everyday, where it’s sunny with palm trees and the beach 12 mins away… can’t beat it.

OP, insurance rates will vary a lot depending on if you're male/female, your age, what city you live in, your driving history, etc. You can't compare your rates to other members on here.

One thing I'll say for sure though, a lot of members on here are choosing the cheapest insurance options and deductible which is a mistake. If they ever get in a car accident and injure someone they will end up paying their medical bills for the rest of their lives when their insurance runs out and will have to file bankruptcy.

You always want to get the highest insurance policy you can get. Source: wife is a lawyer and her professor said never to cheap out on car insurance policies.
