@BurlyBronco curious what tool or technique you used to trim down the plastic on the edge of the light bar to fit with the soft top.

I've got a Dremel here but am considering just using a file, but hoping you can share some experienced knowledge for what you found worked best

Also do you have any links for that edging/trim you used? It looks nice. Did you use glue on it to make sure it stays?

Thx!
So I actually just went at it with a utility knife/razer blade knowing I planned to cover it. The plastic material turns white once it’s cut so I think the trim is inevitable- tho I’ll say I think it looks even better with it! I’d say a dremel would work well, probably better than my method. A file may take too long. I would shave some off, test to see if it worked, and shave off more if needed.

I attached the automotive trim I used - I purchased it on Amazon. It has adhesive inside already and has stayed on very well so no concerns with gluing or anything else.

Good luck! Go slow and know that once it’s covered it’ll look great.

Hello, we actually have a video detailing this process.

Hope that Helps!

Also, if your wipers are clipping slightly you can nip the tip of it with that Dremel. You can also go down to a smaller 14" blade but may be easier to trim the tip when you trim the edge.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread. Wondering if anyone has started using a drivers side wiper blade that wasn't provided by Oracle?

Reason: i've been going back and forth with Oracle about the wiper blade that came in my kit. They've sent me "replacements' that were still not the correct size. Yesterday I received a new set from them that I kid you not were cut and glued to a shorter length. It looks really disgusting and i'm not risking installing these on my vehicle where the risk of it all falling apart and scraping my window is so high. The blades they sent me were actually hilarious. I can tell they're trying, but they've clearly not figured this out yet.

I have these 15" wiper blades on my Bronco. They don't hit the light bar.

How to aim this lightbar? Currently the lightbar is flush with the housing but still shoots high. At the moment it's only useful if I was hunting birds at night. (2 door sas stock)

I am not aware of a way to aim these...but please take a moment to fill out our online tech support request here: https://www.oraclelights.com/pages/tech-support-form and someone from our technical department will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!
