The video isn't super exciting but I thought it showed some various example of 1. Different models of Jeeps and their relative ability off-road. 2. Some good examples of "overlanding" and accessories to consider for our Broncos. 3. The narrator talks about tire size and lifts and you can see a real time use of a front locker at about 10 minutes. He is struggling, then stops on a climb. I assume he engages the front locker and then makes the rest of the climb, as the front stops slipping one tire "differentiating". I am curious about the other Jeep convoy. It appears to be a different model? with larger tires and no lift? (similar to my thoughts around. BD fitting slightly larger tires vs. BL w/33").

I am sure people all have their own definitions, but in my mind it is point to point off-road use of a 4x4. Usually camp in or with your vehicle (some tow small, off road trailers, some use roof top, some sleep on the ground). Personally, I prefer a bed and floor, but I would be into an overnight maybe on occasion if it was a cool destination.

What exactly is ā€œoverlandingā€ ???
IMO it's a term that is getting crazy overused to describe all sorts of different kinds of off-roading and back-country camping and boondocking.

But originally it meant going on an extended off-road trip where the travel was the main objective. You drive off-road all day and set up a quick camp each night.

Overlanding to me is all about the journey to those epic dispersed camp spots. The harder it is to get there the better the view.

Flagstaff (spot called End of the World). That was my very first trip out with the camper, just me and the dog, 22 miles back into the woods, no cell service and setting up camp in the dark.
