Very cool. Not gonna lieā€¦ Iā€™ve been hesitating doing this stuff on my own thinking I eff something up.

Does ā€œmoreā€ include increase temp on heated steering wheel?

Can you also help me out with a 2019 F350 SD?

Great idea! I am ignorant of the FORScan system. I pulled it up, looked at it and said nope!

I could ask a million things that it can possibly change, but i am going to dm you guys to see what will work for me.

Possible to get it done before I leave for hammers on Monday?

Does it effect the warranty in any way?

Iā€™m pretty sure a Windows computer is required. We are an all Mac family but Iā€™m sure I could borrow a buddies PC to get this done. Iā€™m decent at navigating my way around on a Mac but havenā€™t had a Windows computer since 2001, lol.

Can you program the HOSS 3.0 steering rack for the Bronco. ;)

Looks like a really affordable service for doing FORSCAN mods... great idea to help out people who are uncomfortable with making these modifications themselves, you'll certainly be busy!

So can anyone explain to me the unlocking of GOAT modes...?

I have an Outerbanks 2.7 SAS.

I have:
Normal
Eco
Sport
Slippery and Wet (wife likes that one šŸ˜‰)
Mud and Ruts
Sand

What's missing? And will it actually adjust whatever setting the mode is for? Or is it just pretend? For example, I know of "Baja"... What will it do that's different from "Sand" and does my vehicle even have the equipment to notice the difference? Does my question make sense?

I'd greatly appreciate a thorough explanation! šŸ»

Youā€™re also missing rock crawl. Baja is pretty cool because it turns on the front camera with a few different views while at speed.

Hereā€™s an article explaining all the different modes.

Is a PC required? Asking for all MacBook users
FORScan will only work on a Windows PC. I bought a cheap one for Forscan and ProCal 4. Figure that into the price or borrow one from a friend.

Ooo, good idea. Iā€™ve helped a dozens of people locally with Forscan/FDRS changes but never thought to charge for it

That was stupid of me.
Do your modifications void the factory warranty?
Haha. Yea, it can. But it depends on what youā€™re changing.

If, for example, you enable all of the GOAT modes and then have an issue with the ABS module, your warranty claim may be denied. (Adding GOAT modes requires changing the ABS module configuration.)

But if you added GOAT modes and your taillight stops workingā€¦ then youā€™re fine. They canā€™t deny your warranty claim on an unrelated component.

You can also use an Intel MacBook Pro with Windows/Forscan installed.

The newer ARM-based Macs (running M1 / M2 chips) will not work.
