So, I've ordered an OBX in Cyber Yellow with Roast Leather, but I'm thinking very hard about switching to EG. I'm very new to this kind of vehicle - is it possible to to get an aftermarket top in brown, or for an upholsterer to replace the fabric on the soft top?
not sure, but i suspect an aftermarket company may do different colors at some point

Following @Prest33 ’s lead, I also bought paint touch up cans and painted my Maisto model EG - in my case, mostly so I could reassure myself that the gold flop wasn’t as offensively “surprise, this whole thing is Yellow-green-:poop: colored” as it looked like it might become in some photos.

i can now say with certainty that is is not. This color is amazing in person. Like others have said, it’s somewhere on the metallic side of the mallard green/British racing green family in sun and shade, and then it’s almost a metallic olive green under artificial lights. Overall, not too light, and not too dark. I don’t feel nearly as bad about missing out on AMB now. And much like AMB, this color doesn’t photograph well AT ALL… believe me, I tried. but I think you guys will be very happy with your choice once you see it in person.
pics? i've got a 2door in antimatter blue i wouldn't mind painting. also what did you use to paint it?

we are not offering that as part of our kit - you would need to buy everything ala cart and customize the harness
My plan would be to wire the fogs off the factory switch and harness and connect the other two pairs to the upfitter switches. Your standard harness would work with one plug unused.

do I need rubber gasket underneath the bracket?
If yes, how thick do you recommend? (1/4 or 1/8)?

@BroncoAZ That would work or you could do Like I did an remove one circuit from the 4X4Truck LED harness and use that to make a pigtail to connect to the factory foglight harness.

@the poacher The three bolts that are used actualy secure the outter skin to the inner crash bar there is no room to insert anything in between the skin and crashbar without reshaping the skin. Like was said earlier you really do not see the mount unless you are specifically looking for it.

Pretty much what I was thinking. I will need to install the dash switch and activate my fog harness with forscan.
