Peak Blue. They’re getting closer.
Yep, pull out the metallic and I'd be in........Back in the day Ford called it names like, Arcadian or Skyview Blue. I called either Powder, or Baby Blue. Right now we're going with Area 51 as it's the closest right now. But, if only Ford would throw in the Powder, or Baby Blue in '22 I'd change in a heart beat. :)

Yeah, if powder was an option I would have gotten it. As it is I’m going velocity blue, but wish it was lighter.

It appears to be a dirty yellow, very much like 1971 Prairie Yellow:

Here it is versus Chrome Yellow and Caramel Bronze:

OMG ..... I've been looking for this color on a car for YEARS!! Back in the day they used to call it Mustard Yellow.

My old man had an original DKW before they changed the name to Audi (kept the 4 ring symbol though). By the time he passed he had put 1.3 million miles on it and it was a 4 door. It was Mustard Yellow with a white top as in this picture.

I have a MY21 assigned, but I will gladly wait for an MY22 if this is REAL!

I am not one for yellow vehicles at all, but I do like the yellowstone as it seems to be a "classic" as the OP pointed out.

From school bus to road stripe yellow. 😄

I'm not a customer of either color, so my opinion is worthless, but I like Schoolbus Cyber Orange better. The metallic gives it more interest.
