I think anyone could take any color they don't like and come up with a derogatory comparison. Let's try it!

New Green (TBD) - Gomer Pyle jeep
Race Red - Firetruck red
Oxford White - Ice Cream Truck
Carbonized Gray - 9 out of every 10 car color

Yellowstone is drastically different than School Bus yellow, based on my experience with the color.

It's a bit more chalky than what Jeep offers and is a great heritage color. Really Ford could have a LOT of fun with the Bronco color pallet rotating in/out 4-5 heritage throw-back colors every year.

Ford has not had a historic color pallet for decades, they tend to keep it pretty boring unless SVT gets their hands on the mushrooms and they see chromatic colors.

I ended up really liking having a bright color while on the trails in Moab and Canyonlands. The black/white/silver/gray rigs were so boring. The fun colors are a treat to drive when you're away from things.

Can we not make the title of this thread sound so official? Correct me if I'm wrong but nothing has been said from Ford or Fords Reps on what the new colors for next model year are going to be. This is just from a touch-up paint company.

Speaking of colors, there are a few colors that I wouldn't mind seeing (VW and Ferrari) both had some very nice Yellows - the F355 and the GTI VR6 (around the same era = late 90's). Also Mazda had a beautiful British Racing Green that was really sharp on larger vehicles (painted a 67 Camaro this color with white SS stripes).

As far as alternative names for colors, I think Dull Gray (Guam Bomb Gray) is an appropriate alternative name for the Carbonized Gray. Idiotic Silver for the Iconic Silver is an easy one.
