Not sure where I read it but I think it's ~3% off of the vehicle itself and ~6% on options and accessories. I doubt we'll know for sure for another month though.
I believe that came from @Granger Ford

It is what I have been using to calculate my pricing. Seems accurate to me.
Granger's discount calculator spreadsheet is based on a 3% discount on the vehicle and 6% on the accessories. It seems like that was the sensible thing to do rather than let people plan on 6% and be disappointed if it's only 3%. If invoice for the vehicle ends up being 6% off MSRP, they'll use that as the discount and everyone who is buying from them will be even happier. :)

I’m sure this has been answered but what the hell does leather trimmed vinyl mean? Is it leather or vinyl? I’m not so excited about an additional $2k+ for some leather trim on the same vinyl seats.
this is IMO why leather is a rip off. I believe if you look at something like
the roast black interior.

some or all of the roast is probably vinyl

Yo, are those wheel covers hard shells? Or soft covers? I would like to know, if anyone does.
For $90 ($84 invoice), I would assume they are soft covers. I can't imagine a hard cover for $90 when you figure some company has to design and manufacture them, ship them to Ford, who then installs them and sells them to the dealer, with a profit, for $84. I'll bet they are a black vinyl cover with a lined inside and embossed logo/design.

So B&P has been and still is incorrect about the AT being included in the 2.7 engine price? AT will be an additional $1595 (msrp) or $1499 (Inv) on my BD?
I wouldn't necessarily assume that. Think of it this way, Lux included high, but you don't have to pay both option fees
I can guaran-darn-tee Ford isn't offering a "Buy the V6, get an automatic transmission for free" sale. They don't do it on any other vehicles and not on any other Bronco trims. This is a flaw with Build & Price and people who aren't preparing for this will be surprised when they go to order and see that the MSRP is $1595 higher than they planned. And no amount of complaining will change the price at order time.

Badlands V6 people, add $1595 to your MSRP now and plan your build/finances accordingly.

Lots of car companies have switched to vinyl in the high wear areas. Holds up better than leather. Me and my wife both got cars in the same year, mine has the fake leather vinyl, her's has actual leather. On mine you can't tell that its vinyl and not leather (this isn't your '60s vinyl seats). The seats in my car look like they came out of the factory, while her's show 5 years of wear and tear. Take better care than most people do of both cars.

I don't have a problem with it being vinyl. I just don't think its worth it to pay UP for leather when you arguably get a superior(durability) product with all MGV.

Yeah this is what I’m thinking as well. Sounded too good to be true.

I think your right that that auto is $1595 no arguments at all. That lines up with Jeep. BUT $300 upgrade to 2.7l is way more in line with other Ford vehicles than the $1895. Something is definetly screwy and we won't know who is right until B&P is updated or build sheets some out.

it's a combination of both. Leather is on the parts you sit on and matching vinyl on the sides and rear of the seats.

I can't think of a time when Ford offered an engine upgrade for $300. Maybe on the 1965 Mustang. On our Escape, going from the 1.6 to the 2.0 (both turbo I4) was $1000. So, going from 2.0 single-turbo I4 to 2.7 twin-turbo V6 for $1895 is what I expected. Also, that's the upgrade price on any Bronco trim. Particularly note that's the price on Outer Banks, which already includes the automatic. To summarize:

$1895 for the V6 upgrade, regardless of trim
$1595 for the 10-speed auto upgrade (required if getting the V6 and not already included in the trim)

If you need both (as in Badlands), you're looking at about $3500 MSRP.

Gotcha! In that context I'm more on your side. It was one thing when it was assumed that leather would get you power seats. Now that it looks like power seats only come on Navy Pier interiors on OBX and FE, the justification is harder.

I wish we made 6% on new vehicles. it's closer to 3% INV. to MSRP. ($64,995 for FE, invoice is $62,773 spread is $2,222. $2,222/$64,995=.03418=3.4% margin.)
Maybe I meant on accessories?
