Is anybody else praying their current vehicle lasts long enough for the Bronco to be available?

Currently driving a 2014 Edge that has so far been trouble free.... but its now has close to 100k miles...my backup vehicle Is a 2010 Wrangler Sport with 100k.... one of these will get me thru as long as Ford doesn’t completely screw things up in the next 9-10 months

Turning in my lease in a few weeks (it was glorious and I will miss it). I've been working from home since the 'rona started. Given that, I will be trying to make it until the Bronco arrives sharing one car with my wife....pray for me.

I might just get something cheap that won't depreciate much to get by for a few months and then sell it when the Bronco arrives. Maybe a good excuse to get an old Miata or something.

I have a 2019 ram 1500. I had to get a new engine last month at 45,000 miles. I'm hoping it happens again before it runs out of warranty and they lemon the POS. When I told the wife I was thinking about getting a Ram she said "What kind of dumb ass wants a ram." It was my first Ram and it will be my last.

I have a 2006 FX4 F150 that I’m hoping lasts till next year. Already did the usual 5.4L repairs. Injectors, Cam Phaser, Plugs, etc at 100k. Around 160k now. Probably needs the lifters changed now, but I’m done dumping money into it. Not worth anything now anyway.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Have to replace the engine mounts. Two recalls that are delayed until December. Over 100K miles. Just need t to hold out. Getting expensive to maintain now. Just a little longer, please!

I'm hoping my '16 Focus has one last cross country road trip in it. All 4 cars in my drive way have >100K miles and I trust them all.

100% I am. I drive my wifes old 2011 VW Tiguan to work and back, its got over 206k kilometers. The other day I went to start it and it just clicked at me. Tried boosting the battery, no dice. Hooked my buddies machine to it and got 3 missfire codes. Left it at work overnight, bought 4 spark plugs and 4 ignition coils. Replaced the old ones, no change. Drove the 79 F150 to work with the trailer and loaded it up, drove it to the dealership. Theyre 3 hours into it so far, waiting for a phone call about what it is. Im guessing its timing related. Cars only worth $2000 trade in. Don't know if itll be worth fixing. I was really hoping itd last until the Bronco got here.

Update: Dealership just called. It's KO'd. Timing skipped 5 spots on the crank. Piston hit a valve they said. $8500 to put in a used motor including labor. No dice I said. Not worth it.

I broke another motor mount on my Ranger a couple of weeks ago. It's just ratchet strapped now.

My wife went ahead and bought herself a 4Runner. It's on the boat and we're just waiting for delivery and my Ranger will head to the scrapper.

I'll be driving her old Escape until the Bronco arrives. It's an ok vehicle but it will be a long year.

2012 Ford Edge. Been great to me overall. A few nits here and there but I’ve been very happy with it. 113K and counting. I think I can get it to 2022 model year with no problem. Need to make sure the finances work.

2011 Mitsu Lancer 237k miles. Not trading in, keep up with maint and occasional part replacement, tires. It's a manual transmission so will be good for my kids to learn on, have a backup car. Been a reliable car, should last a few more years, knock on wood. Love not having a car payment, that'll be the sucky part of getting the Bronco.
