Is color the only difference between the MIC hardtop and the painted black hardtop?

The painted mod top comes officially in ‘High Gloss’, or as I see it, extra shiny.

Here’s a couple pis of the black painted MOD top outside and not under bright indoor asembly plant lighting. It’s definately not as shiny
