Does it seem like there's a good percentage of people unwilling to make simple modifications to their future Bronco? ...that they just want it to get delivered exactly as they have it in their heads. Just my humble opinion...but that makes zero sense. How is Ford supposed to crank out all these rigs in time when they're all sooooo different? That's why they made these trims, and other factory options. It's also why they made it easy to modify with simple tools. Don't like those grey flares or top? Swap em out with some you do like. Or paint them. Or wrap them. Go crazy!! Want better lights? Go aftermarket. Or buy the signature ones from Ford and swap em out! They made it super easy for us. Which is brilliant! That's what we want. I feel like in a few years when all these sweet builds are on the road....the best ones aren't going to be standard factory options. It's going to be from the people willing to put in some work to make their rigs unique, and custom to their specific needs. The factory is getting us some really great options...but after that, it's on us to build on it. Ford, you're killin it! I can't wait til next year!!

OK, so you're good with the Toyota/Honda method of this trim level gets this, this and that and nothing else. Ford has chosen to offer trim levels, packaged option groups and individual options. They can handle it. They sell how many F-series a year? There are hundreds of combinations of trim levels, option packages and options available for the F-series and it is not an issue.

I think a lot of people will mod, and they seem to have a method for the 200+ addons.

But for me, I don’t care as much about these filler pics and little teasers, literally everyone I speculating. Ford is dropping the ball with this b&p. I’m normally a patient person but what the hell are they doing. It’s an actually clown fiesta. I’m losing interest with the ineptness of this launch.

I'm with you on that, I've modified pretty much all my cars even the daily drivers so this will be no different!!

Personally, I see both sides of this. It's super nice to get things bundled in from the factory for people on a budget or really anyone that is financing. Also, for things like lift kits, they would be backed by the factory warranty so that's also a huge plus. Lastly, the aftermarket will take about a year from when they start getting their hands on Broncos to build a lot of the options everyone wants.

Some people are just sick of waiting and don't want to shell out more money for what they feel should have been a standard option.

I totally get it, but I am still glad the Bronco's are as easy to modify as Jeeps and for those who can't afford the factory options I am happy the aftermarket is going to come out swinging so they can modify later.

I get it. Honestly I do, and feel sorta the same.
But I have to wonder:
Is it ineptness or is it planned tiered hype and "releases" of new stuff planned all along?
It is a long time until job#1, and a long time until delivery.
Maybe they are metering this stuff out at the rate it is as planned all along to boost the interest, the hype, let it fizz for a week or so, drop new and exiting pics and info, rinse and repeat...

A lot of people like the fact that they can customize it up front, roll it all into the financing, under factory warranty and not worry about install time and scheduling and parts & labor costs later on

Sure, you may see something down the road to add on but I like the model for the Bronco

Pushing back release, misinformation, and little TMZ type spoilers is not hype, it’s high school. It’s also kinda rude to all of us waiting. Patience is a virtue, but being played with is testing my respect

The car doesn’t even have a finalized B&P and we don’t know any of the official trims, add ons or accessories. Plus you’re on a forum dedicated to a car where people are just picking apart every detail they can find because there’s no available information. Of course people invested in the development of this car are hoping it’s exactly what they envision in their head. How does that signify nobody is willing to do any aftermarket mods?

That's my point though... There already is hundreds, if not thousands of combinations already available. I agree, it should be no problem.

Like I said in another thread - people should be looking at what owners of the direct competition do aftermarket and not worry so much about what they can’t get from the factory.
