I only drive my Mustang in Sport mode, well My Mode > Sport for throttle, transmission, steering and Track for exhaust. But I am getting a Badlands, from what I understand Baja has almost the same parameters as Sport mode and then you just turn off 4H. I think that will suffice for me when I want a more spirited drive.
Baja is nothing like Sport mode. Baja mode in a Raptor on the road is not good at all. It keeps the RPMs at 4000 to keep the turbos spooled. In the right off road environment it is fun.

I have it on my Flex. It doesn't seem to do much, just goes down a gear in preparation of passing someone.

I've used my paddle shifters for engine braking far more than 'sportiness'

Go drive a Raptor and select sport mode and you will understand.

Umm, what? So people are switching trims just in order to get “Sport mode”?? ? it’s a Bronco, not a sports car. I have paid literally no attention to any of the GOAT modes. It might as well just have one mode, normal.

I don’t use sport mode on any of my vehicles that have it. Tried it out, but didn’t notice a difference. I drive fast all the time, so even without sport mode, I’m still passing everyone perfectly fine. Also, I don’t want to be like a pilot and have to do a “pre-drive” check every time I get into the car.

sport mode turned on? Check
Auto stop start turned off? Check

I have a 3.5 ecoboost f-150 and i turn on sport mode before shifting out of park. It significantly improves the transmission shifting and holds lower gears longer. Normal mode will shift to highest gear around 45 mph(for no reason).
x2.
I am ordering a BL as well and would much rather have Sport then Eco or maybe even Baja. But it is no deal breaker.

Life was simpler when the throttle pedal was connected to the throttle blade.... your mood=your driving mode.

I feel like I should add "NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!!"

Guess I'm gonna find out with my Badlands, I personally think it will be ok in Normal Mode with the 2.7 ?

I thought about how I will use the GOAT Modes and I can imagine mine will live in normal and slippery most of the time. I guess it wasn’t a huge buying factor for
me either.
With that said maybe I will use them more than I think. I occasionally find my self on two track trails in the mountains.

I wish that Ford would publish the information for the Bronco. For my M3, the 3 modes for the engine (efficient, sport and sport+) are wildly different and each has its uses. The modes change throttle response, exhaust valves and whether or not the turbos remained spooled up. M3 has separate steering and suspension controls. My Focus RS changed throttle response, suspension, exhaust valves and steering ratio and stiffness. I realize those are performance cars and we are talking Bronco.

Bronco doesn’t have exhaust valves or electronic suspension but it does have an accelerator pedal, auto transmission (for us 2.7 people), turbos and a steering wheel. You will notice that Raptor owners are noting a major difference between normal and sport modes. Im planning on getting a Badlands, so this is one possible drawback compared to the other trims. My only solace is that the FE has the same modes as Badlands, but up until recently the FE wasn’t really where most people wanted to be.

Hopefully more information is published about the Bronco’s mode and luckily there is an aftermarket for tuning if things are lacking in the power and transmission departments.

Sport mode is a joke. It probably just remaps the throttle so that 80% of throttle happens in the first 20% of pedal travel. People think, "ooohhhh, car is faster." No, you just gave it all the throttle by barely touching the pedal. This completely screws up driving if you have a manual. The only other thing it could possibly do is make the steering harder, if the pump is electric. The shocks aren't adjustable. The exhaust doesn't have valves. The ironic part is that real sports cars try to have a linear throttle so you can actually predicts what's going to happen when you press on the pedal.
Sport Mode: "Gee, my gas mileage is too good in regular mode. How can I substantially reduce it?"

Like the M3 and RS, sport mode on the Raptor also stiffens up the steering.
