LOL, I was being sarcastic, but you're essentially correct. Picking a trim based on having or not having Sport mode would be like choosing a trim because you prefer the name or badge.
I feel attacked...I pretty much picked Badlands because of the name and badge (don't like the badge much anymore though)...that was on reveal night before I knew much about it.

hmmm is that true? does baja on the F150 really hold RPMs over 4000?

I know sport mode does not... it tunes the shifts for sure, but if your in sport mode and holding speed, it will upshift until its at a cruising RPM. might take a few seconds longer than it would have if you had just come off heavy acceleration in normal mode, but its not going to rip along at 40mph in 2nd gear just to hold the RPMs forever.
In my Raptor, that is exactly how Baja works. I believe that currently the Raptor is the only Ford vehicle with Baja. The Bronco will be the second. Having spent three years with both Sport and Baja, I would take Sport over Baja hands down.

In my F-150 Tow/Haul mode is equivalent to Sport mode. I doubt you will have trouble finding a "Sport" mode in the available modes.

They didn't design it for the street.

I only need Sport mode in this beast off road... I have that with Baja mode. On the street it will be plenty quick for the way it is designed. ?
Are you getting the optional whale tail spoiler?

Track Mode is better. I never ever use sport mode on my truck, but that might be I dont like filling up the 36 gallon tank.

You realize someone on this site created that out of what they thought it would be, right? It's not based on anything but his speculation....you may want to revise your comment, as you posted a fantasy document.

Yup, tracking. And since 99% of what's on this forum is speculation anyway, including virtually all of this thread, I'm cool with leaving my comments as is. I appreciate you post-policing me though.

Cool, just so you know that the chart is inaccurate, and you were calling out people by using a chart derived from nothing...

Never had "sport" mode on my '73. Never thought it was a sports car. Dang, I could have been cool.

People are changing trims to avoid stitching color. They are delaying delivery or changing exterior colors to match a hardtop color. Drive modes seems like a way more valid reason to change in my opinion.
Haha good points, i just can’t relate.

Some of y'all are wild. The only mode I care about is tow/haul.

Shoot im sure the crowd that likes all that tech stuff like cartoons on the dash ,50 things controlled by the turn signal stalk and such . I would love the bronco to have taken a little more of a nod to the past but thats just me.
Just like this has worked for forever in my house

I would love to have the Wildtrak due to the sport mode but I want the rubberized floors with drains and MGV seats. The Wildtrak doesn’t have either. :( I also want the high or lux package and signature lights so that eliminates Black Diamond. There’s pretty much no perfect trim for me but Badlands is the closest.
I'm in the same, exact boat! :(

Ditto . ... plus, I don't want camouflage on my seats ... did they have GI Joe on the design team for that decision???
