Good question...
An option to select black/ white (current assembly base colors) for roll bar color over body color may prove popular among buyers.

I might select black if offered.....as it would be easier to maintain appearance.

I don’t see an assembly constraint to such an option, t.f., could very well be offered in the coming weeks.

It's integrated, so I would guess body color only.

It likely has to be in place during painting for structural integrity if they use a process similar to the trucks.

Seen the orange one both ways too......guess we don't know at this point which is standard, or if there even will be an option choice since those were just prototypes

I'm operating under the assumption that the roll bars will all be black as they incorporate the rooftop panel latch points, speaker pods, seatbelt tie-down and airbag modules as well, having separate parts to color-match the bars with airbag covers seems like it would probably get messy with regulatory testing or some such issue. Not to mention far too many obscure parts to produce in an assortment of colors.

Vinyl wrapping the exterior-facing panels might be the easiest solution as far as what i'm guessing will happen.

Mine'll be black regardless of how they leave the factory. They just look unfinished to me when they're body color but have all sorts of random black doodads attached to them. I'd rather they "disappear" visually.

I definitely think body-colored is what the turn out is going to be. I assume its a lot quicker/efficient for painting and time purposes to paint the frame and body all at once. I think the yellow bronco that was the "design study" with the 37s at launch was the only one with a black roll bar, probably since it was just a one-off.

All "production" photos on Ford's website show the colored frames.
