Thinking about the Bronco to replace my '03 F-150. The main reason I like driving my truck is for the high, chair-like seating position. Anyone have some measurements from interior floor to seating surface? Or some pictures of folks seated in the Bronco along with their heights?

If it sits like an F-150 or Ram 1500, I'm sold. If it's more like a Tacoma, sitting down on the floor, maybe I'll just get a new Ram and keep my back happy.

I sat in a 2dr a few weeks ago. Similar to my Silverado 1500. Doesn’t sit low to the floor. Definitely sits higher than other vehicles.

Get a new F-150 and you all of you can be happy knowing you have the best truck on the market

Remember, a Ram can go anywhere with a Ford pulling it

The tacoma / 4runner is worse than sitting in many compact cars in terms of flat, car-like posture. Some like it, I hate it and it is uncomfortable for long drives. Probably my number one complaint with that platform (even more so than the old, but reliable powertrain and high prices).

I just got out of the #1 FE demo at the dealer. The seating position was my biggest concern, and works for me, but I can't say it is completely truck-like.

I drive a Tacoma which is definitely not like sitting in a chair (more like a bean bag with legs sticking out front) and which doesn't fit my 6'2" frame.

I also drive a Silverado at work, which is more chair-like (I think this what you are looking for?).

I would say the Bronco position is halfway between the two, but leaning more toward the Tacoma. I honestly wasn't conciously comparing it to a truck while sitting in it, though. I was more focused on the fact that it fit better than the Tacoma... and pretending to push a clutch in.

Maybe seat height dimensions would help you decide and compare?

I sat in a Bronco 2DR awhile back at Sanderson Ford. It feels like a mid sized truck to me. Kind of like my 2006 Frontier. If it was like a Tacoma I would have canceled my reservation. If you don't have a reservation you are looking at next year for delivery. By then there will be mannequins at dealers for you to actually sit in.

Wouldn't it feel pretty similar to sitting in a Ranger FX4 or Tremor?

Definitely not like a car. Very comfortable. Kind of like a Chito’s delivery van.

If you have good posture, definitely a truck.

You should be able to adjust the seats to match your position in your f150. They go up, down, forward, back and recline....the steering wheel is adjustable as well
