Apologies if this has been addressed, and I’m sure it has, but I searched, and can’t find it, and no articles I’ve read mention it. If you have carpet, can you take it out for cleaning as in a Jeep?

I haven't seen any mention of carpets being (easily) removeable. Based on some of the interior videos it doesn't look to me that carpet would be easily removed but I'm sure it will be possible with some effort.

Everything is removable if you try hard enough.

I really have NO idea why people want carpet in a vehicle.

As I’ve noted in other threads, I got zero options on my Base, but if rubberized washout floors and vinyl seats had been an available add-on, I would have added those. Instead, I likely will get some rubber mats and seat covers, or at least for the back for the dog.

I don’t want to remove the carpet permanently like I did when I spray-lined my Wrangler. Carpet reduces noise and helps insulate and keep it cooler inside.

^^^^^^ I was trying my best to buy a base and the flooring was a concern for me. At the time I made up my mind to just buy the vinyl flooring and replace the carpet. Then buy seat covers. Not the cheapest way but doable and less than buying a higher trim just for the floor.

Worst case it will come out if you unbolt the seats.

Pretty standard, get the seats out and the sillplates out, maybe kickpanels and console trim and the carpet should come out fairly easily.

I’m not going to do all that, as I don’t want it out permanently. I just was wondering if you could pull it out for cleaning/drying and snap it back in like in a Wrangler.
