Yes sir! Why not both? Many real experts have pointed out there is no need for a V8, they often compare v8 power from 1970, with the potential of a 4 or 6 cyl of today. I am surprised Ford hasn't contacted them, invited them to come and school the engineers and the Board. But, I'm just a guy that does believe you can't beat displacement-when compared on an equal footing. But why not both? A forced induction v8 is a beautiful thing. There is much truth to the adage that there's no substitute for cubic inches. You can boost all of them.
There's not technically anything "old fashioned" about a v8, though they are out of favor for many good reasons... that doesn't mean that they're good for nothing.
I would think it’s a typo as well. Probably a 2.8L update for the 2.7L.https://windsorstar.com/news/local-news/breaking-unifor-and-ford-reach-tentative-agreement
This surely is a typo right? I'd think the Mustang would have to grow considerably to fit a 6.8L.
Bore and stroke the Coyote to 5.4 and add 2 cylinders to get a 6.8 liter Dire Wolf or Liger?Right? Talk about the ultimate troll on FCA.
Oh yeah? TRX is a raptor killer? Let's add two more cylinders. Mopar was famous for their v10. Can you imagine ford making a TRX and Viper killer by putting a V10 in the Raptor and GT500?
