Is this website a scam?

Hey everyone. I am having a TERRIBLE experience with https://www.everythingbroncoaftermarket.com/ and I wanted to see if it's just a scam. I placed an order last week for the Whipple Tomahawk Flash and a couple of other parts and I have been getting the runaround ever since. I can get anyone on the phone or email support who is in the US and actually has a clue what's going on. I just keep getting generic responses that they are sorry they cannot ship my order today and cannot let me know when it will ship. Thinking I will dispute with my credit card company but wanted to see if anyone has had a good experience with them?

That site one of multiple similar websites that is operated by gearup2go which is a drop shipper. Like most shitty drop shippers they always show everything in stock even though they have zero inventory. I drive by their building almost every day. They share a small building behind a body shop with a window company. I don't think they will scam you but who knows when your order will finally ship.

The only good drop shipper I have used is jeepandtruckparts.com. I have ordered from them three times. The prices always seemed to be too good to be true but the items always shipped within 2 days.

That website is owned by GearUp2Go which is a well-known drop-shipping company... part of a greater trend known as agency selling.

They themselves do not have any warehouse space or handle any of the shipping themselves... they simply collect orders and pass them on to other retailers or wholesalers on the backend. In exchange, they earn a commission or skim a little off the top of every order placed.

Pro-tip in the day of modern e-commerce. Go to the website of the manufacturer you are looking to buy and look up their dealer list. If the website you are buying from is not a dealer, it's probably a drop-shipper (or a scam).

So it's not a scam, they are actually a dealer for us. They own a lot of different branded websites directed at products. I can tell you they DID stock some of our products (they stocked our KR Off-Road products at one point). I never have an issue emailing them but I also deal direct with the owner and his staff.

Their support is based outside the USA though.

I'm not too familiar with the company though but for our brand, they get things shipped right away to customers since they signed on.

Did a quote on the website and only got 5% off on the triple fog lights (0% on the Ditch ones). Will wait until a better deal shows up.
