Heh.... "Hey first time Ford owners, speak up!!"

We got two first-timers followed by a dozen or so life-long Ford owners that have lost count how many Fords they've had.

My Bronco was my first Ford purchase after 20ish years of driving and maybe two dozen vehicles.

I used to drive a Honda Accord and always figured I’d stick with Japanese brands like Honda, Toyota, and Subaru for their reliability. But when the Ford Bronco leaked in 2020, it sparked an obsession I couldn’t shake. A few months ago, I would’ve taken my Honda to a mechanic just to fix a loose wheel well lining. But now? I’m installing a new bumper on the Bronco right in my own garage. It’s funny how passion can drive you to learn new skills, becoming more hands-on and self-sufficient in the process. Overlanding and off-roading aren’t just about the adventure; they’re about learning and mastering the skills to be prepared, capable, and self-reliant. I’m grateful this vehicle sparked that journey for me.

So TLDR first time Ford owner due to the Bronco. No regrets.
Best post I’ve seen in a while. The same thing has happened to me. Wiring my own lights, doing my own maintenance, learning off roading. This vehicle excites and inspires. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned.

I love hearing from the first time Ford owners. As a former owner of a truly badass 5th Gen GT Mustang, the Broncos are still more fun to drive (manuals) than even the epic works of art and machines that are 5th Gen Mustangs

First Ford ever for me. I've only ever owned Toyota's or Subaru's prior to the Bronco. So far I am loving the Bronco, and glad I got one.

No, but it will probably be my last.

My '13 F350 was my first. Still have it.

Nah, it's just a simple question seeing how many decided to give Ford a chance that cut their teeth driving on other brands. No boasting or bragging by anyone considering we all came to the same place from different roads ...it's how we got here that makes things interesting. It's about the journey, not the destination my brother

I had a 65 mustang for a brief period 20ish years ago, along with a 78 Trans Am and a 96 Ram. I consider my first Ford our 2019 Expedition we bought new. I traded my 2014 Ram for the Bronco.

First time Ford owner here. Never even test drove before I bought my Bronco. I love it and intend on staying with a Bronco for a very very long time. It’s my dream vehicle.

Seriously dismayed by the windshield cracking at 1,300 miles. I hope they're willing to repair the root causes. I'm not accepting the blame, because I have 75,000 miles on Jeeps, never a scratch, so I know that cracks are not a requirement of driving an offroader on the road. I see new baby Broncos with cracked windshields, too.

I understand their financial model insists that quarterly profits are maximized by reducing quality, so it's time to exercise some independent judgment and think about the long-term future of the brand.

This is also my first my Ford and I was in the same boat. So much so that when I met a buddy of mine that I hadn't seen in awhile he mentioned "I thought you were a Honda guy". I was waiting around for the new 4Runner before the Bronco came out but I'm glad I got the Bronco. No regrets

What hit your windshield that caused it to crack and any other details you can give are more than welcome by open eyes and ears.

That was directed towards MuffinTop, but I reckon plenty of us are receptive to that since it affects us all.
