It’s the season

Thought I’d jump on the Jeep band wagon and add a Christmas wreath to my spare tire, other than my cheap rope from Home Depot, it didn’t come out too bad for about 10 minutes of work! Let me see everyone else’s holiday setups!

Okay, I did mine. This is a 32” battery-powered wreath from Costco that was on sale for 30 bucks. I haven’t seen what the lights look like at night yet, but if they suck we can always buy a string of 12v lights and plug them into the rear power port.

I welded up a frame and test-fit it. It has one strap at the bottom that holds it secure, and if you need to get the spare tire off, you can undo that strap and the whole thing lifts right off…

I painted the whole thing and then attached the wreath to the frame with zip-ties…

And here’s the final product. I’ll add night pictures later…

We may add some red bows or something to give it some more color, but that’s my wife’s department. I just build stuff.

How many places is this even legal? I know here you could do white lights on a wreath like that, but blue lights would be a major issue.
