It seems Raptor B&P is going live tomorrow

raptor and tremor is part of job 2 on the f150 production line. I forgot the date but it starts sometime in June. Delivery will be this fall. And yes my dealer is submitting my raptor order as soon as he sees pricing in his system. I will share my DORA when I get it.

I was talking to a guy who clearly did not know that. You are ordering a Raptor? Any idea when the Tremor/Raptors will actually be produced and delivered?

Will yours be a 2021 or 2022? I just called Granger because none of the FL dealers know what's going on right now. Are you going to be out of the Bronco business? I'm just trying to decide between the Tremor and keeping on with the Bronco.

What did Granger say about ordering the 2021 Raptor? Do they have any allocations? Will they also mark it up like everyone else?

I was told only 2500 Raptors will be produced in 2021. I can't verify this BUT given the late production run and also the chip shortage, it seems possible then very few 2021 Raptors will be produced.

I know dealers were awarded allocation only 4-5 days ago and there were 2 types of allocations .. 35" and 37" wheel/tires .. in other words you have to have a 37 allocation to order 37s.

My dealer received 3 allocations ... two 35s and one 37

this new Raptor carries over the last generation engine and transmission apparently. It is essentially the same steel frame, not aluminum, but now has a five-link coil-spring rear setup, can be ordered with a 37" setup from the factory, and has an updated interior. That is about it in terms of what separates Gen 3 from 2?

The GEN3 Raptor will feature the 2nd gen of the Fox live shocks in 2 forms ... 1 for 35s and even bigger shock shaft for the 37s. 37 equipped Raptors has a bigger coil spring for the front.

The GEN2 truck only has height sensors in the front for a total of 2. The GEN3 truck has a total of 4 … 2 front and 2 rear.

3.5L engine specs have not been released yet. The speculation is that numbers are the same BUT come earlier in the RPM band.

The rear frame assembly is different from the GEN2 trucks. Was redesigned for the 5-link and also to accommodate the 37 spare.

Everything else you mentioned is correct.

I didn't ask about the Raptor because I'm interested in the Tremor. I am going to email Albert and get some more information. I'll let you know if I find out any new info. I'm really struggling to decide what to do - Bronco/Tremor.

The Tremor B & P is not exactly perfect. The interior 360 is one normal picture and one spooky horror movie lighting picture.

The 2017-2020 have steel frames and aluminum bodies. The 2021-up have steel frames and aluminum bodies. The 2021-up is all new frames, suspension, bodies. Yes the engine and trans are carry overs.

I can get a F-250 diesel Platinum Tremor for less than a new 37" Raptor. That is crazy. I may be driving my last Raptor

my dealer always tries to push me towards the super duty tremor as it is inexpensive for what you get and most importantly it is orderable.

make sure you get the new one (2022) with the 12” screen.
