Niiiiiice, I can't be the only one that likes the look of the steelies on the BD.....can I?

BTW, is that salt on the top, fenders, and rear bumper. I hope it's some kind of crap. If not that's not a good sign of longevity for those parts. (No, wait, after a second look there seems to have been a frost the night before. :) )

So hold on everyone. Big announcement. After digging the fake steelies on the sport, I now choose to go steelies on my BD. There.

Looks like a mixture of road salt and frost maybe?

Well, in case the roads get iced up. You can put in the studs and drive away
Where do they still allow studded tires? I thought you meant something else ;)

Great shots from many angles. If I wasn't tired of whites and grays this color combo could work.

I think you're correct. After a second look, I think that's what we have there. Scared me for a minute. I was hoping the parts weren't that bad. :)

I kept waiting for the owner to club me over the head from behind. I have already gone back twice, hoping to snag the driver with it. Maybe they will be downtown tonight. Northville MI is pretty active since they closed the streets downtown and everyone can walk around and imbibe and eat (even when it’s 25degrees). ?
Mattwings thanks for the great pics. If you ever do cross paths with the driver, maybe see if you can get a GVWR photo along with drivetrain info.

It's easy to see the spray pattern on the right front passenger door. I wonder if an off-road friendly (i.e. small) mud flap could prevent that without impacting capability too much. Given that the road "sand" they use around here is basically pea gravel I could see lots of dings from stuff being thrown up off the front tires and hitting the sides.

Looks like the tires are made for studs. Could be handy...
Christ, now I have to jump up from Base to a Black Diamond.... not sure about the handy part.

...whose hands? LOL
