I really dislike the look of the exposed pinch weld. So I added JCR Offroad Pinch Weld covers.

These are powder coated black steel plates that bolt through the pinch weld. I was a bit surprised at how heavy and thick they are. The only complaint I have though is that I had to re-use the two front factory painted bolts. JCR provides replacement black bolts but the heads are too small and require a washer that was not provided.

Let them know they are great and will probably set you straight.

If not, they can tell you the length/thread/pitch and you can order a few black bolts.

I installed these last weekend. Want to mention in addition 2 the (small) problem with the front 2 bolts, you have to loosen the 1st two bolts on the factory steps as well for clearance. Simple install. Hope they don't make the pinch welds rust quicker...
