I have quite a bit of JCR gear in the bronco, rear shelf, molle panels, and now the overhead molle panel.
I wanted to remove the anytone 578 radio I put in as I really didn't like it as my mobile radio, and swapped in a kenwood D710G I had here at my house. Needed an overhead rack to mount the radio control head, speaker, and mic (magnetic mic holder on order).
radio body mounted in the exact same spot i had the anytone radio body, in the back of the bronco on the molle panel.
and as a little bonus, i didn't want the center light they send with the kit. but... i had some old "bang stick" mounts laying around and well, they fit perfectly in there. just a teaser pic for those interested. (unloaded and empty mag).
just a bonus I thought of while installing the rack, doesn't lock so i'm not leaving that in there by any means. but it'll be riding with me on trips where i know i won't be out of sight of the bronco (IE extended camping or day trips).
thats all for now!
